Describe what you have motor, cams, header, exhaust, intake, etc.

I know this is the NA forum, but tires are crucial to what ever you plan to accomplish with the car. Whether drag, autox, rr, etc an extra set of wheels and tires with only one performance purpose will always perform better than a double duty set

Itr tranny or build a b16 tranny. Sell your stock block and build a b20. Get a better intake manifold, Tb and a b16 tranny or intake mani,tb and retune. Many things you can do, really all depends on you, your goals, how long you want your down time to be.

Well.. A Tranny WAS A opition..a b16 or a ctr/itr tranny was a goal of mine.. I'm kindof seeing how far i can push this stock c5 block..more then likely i will end up boring it out to a 2.0 or something of that nature come summer time..

Better intake manifold how??
What TB Do YOU suggest..

And i'm sure i'm right around 200-210whp..something of that nature i've been running 13.9's and 13.8's just trying to get lower times i'm not shooting for anything unrealistic but..just tryin to get some insight..

is this going to be a drag car? or daily?

drag>>>i would recommend the victor x. might be a little too much for that setup but they have nice gains at 7k+ rpms. that way if you end up liking the new mani, youll be saving a lot of $$.

tb.....i would go with 70mm. find out what the size your mani can accomodate for. i know the skunk2 pro series mani can accept up to 74mm i think. so it might be close to the same.

itbs will give a nice little throttle response though

Didnt see anything on headwork. Get a nice street port and 3angle valve job.

You could always put a nitrous kit on it and run your ITB buddies down from behind.

Your not an all motor guru if your asking what to spend 1100 dollars on. Nothing will give you a gain for the price of nitrous haha.

Not to mess up your thread but to break down your loses here you go.

1 RMF or SMSP header $1100
1 set of SKS2 cams $550
1 thermal catback exhaust 2.5 mandrel bent $600
1 Act extreme Clutch setup with 6 puck disk $425
1 head job by port flow with springs retainers $1200

You call yourself a GURU changing all that stuff out. You could of had a b20/VTEC with 250+ WHP already my friend. ITBS and retune will be your best bet from some of the people that have pasted your mild stepping stone GURU

In my honest opinion, the best bang for your buck for you at this point would be a 4.9 Final Drive or a 3,4 & 5th gear set from MF Factory. Better than itb's/header or IM for you. They make a DRAMATIC difference in acceleration....just my .2 cents.

Only 3 things left.....

1. Type-r Tranny
2. Port your skunk mani
3. Tune on a dyno after mani install.

BTW, can we see a dyno of this setup you have here?

OR you should just get one of these. Ask DonF about these, he has them in stock for cheap. I hear this is the edge he has kept a secret for a while.....
