does anybody know if you can change the cd deck i heard that you cant because it messes with the security with the stalk mp3 player

 

You can change it, the stereo itself is anti-theft, the car doesn't have a "security system" per say, just auto lock unlock, trunk lid, and sure if there's some awkward entry it'll start making noise....

But no, you're fine changing the stock cd player.

 

so my power locks, windows, and key lock dont run through the stock stereo.
