Default b16a header/ o2's question.

the header on my jdm b16a is wrong, when the stock b16 header have 2 o2 bungs on the back of the runners. so the header i got on my b16 now has one on the collector and one on the cat, which is also wrong. it also mess up the reading of the obd0 o2 readings if it like that. throwing a code everytime i let off the gas and let it coast for a while.

the header i'm going to get has 2 o2 bungs on the header itself. now will the reading be better if it lil more closer and on the header it self?

Well if it has the two bungs it should be peachy, as long as the two bungs are on their right cylinders.

Buy a header and do what I did.

It cost $30 and took like 20 minutes for an exhaust place to do it.

You dont need to buy an expensive *** obd0 header from Hasport.

Well that is true, prices vary wildly. The first place I took it to, a machining shop, said $150 and they would do it in a week. I said no, took it to a small exhaust shop and he quoted me $20 labor and $5 each for the o2 bungs. If its $80 somewhere, it will be cheaper somewhere else. Not all shops are going to charge the same rate so shop around like you would for anything you are trying to get a good deal on.
