Backup light switch
My back-up lights have been out for the past couple weeks. I replaced the bulbs and then checked the fuse but niether was the problem. That means most likely its the switch right? Doeas any one no where exactly it is located, and what it looks like? It is an '02 ex w/manual trans. thanks
on top of the transmission, with a wire harness plugged into it.
Test in the manual is "Check for continuity between the back up light switch 3P connector No 1 and No2 terminals (with the tab facing up, and you looking into the connector, thats left and center), there should be continuity when the shift lever is in reverse.
If not, replace back up switch with a new washer".
