Default Will B16A work for swap?

Ok, as you guys know i drive my 84' Lude.
Now I got a suggestion earlier on swaping a B18A in with less difficulty then what i originaly wanted swapped in (F22).
I was comparing a B16A and a B18A, and it looks like the B16 costs less, and has more HP, so would this motor be just like swaping in a B18, or more difficult?
I guess the B18 does have more torque, but well.. what do you guys think?
-edit-
The B16A is also a smaller engine than the B18.

If you are comparing B series's, the B series in the Lude is the bastard child B series and has no similarities to the more popular b series.

How can a B series have no similarities to the B series? lol
Im guessing you mean F series?
anyways, I just wanna know what B series engine would be the least difficult to swap into my Prelude.

they are both gonna be about the same amount of work, both need custom axles, both need custom mounts, and wiring.

the b16, b18, and the crv b20. do not fit in the lude without modification.

They are not the same as b20 and b21 out of the lude.

And its true they have very few similarities.

Yes, the B16, B18 and B20s from Civics, Integras, CRVs, etc are totally different than the B20s and B21s from older Preludes.

For difficulty, the first set of B engines are all going to be roughly the same as a far as swapping. If you choose a VTEC engine you'll have more wiring and extra crap to worry about...but you'll have VTEC. Just choose if you want the higher-revving B16 or you want more low-end tq like with a B20 non-VTEC.

the thing that sucks about that... is you have to get the motor, then build it. And after you've finished all of that... You can finally start fitting it in and getting all that custom stuff done.

I would stick with a motor that's good bang for the buck and has a little torque to push around your ride. plus the vtak
