Default *****Being ripped off (Miramar, Hollywood, FL area)******

Being ripped off (N. Miami, Hollywood, FL area) , until otherwise proven. I would like to say recently, but as long as it has taken I won't. On the 14th of April, I purchased some FBP fenders for two ClubSi members from an individual in N. Miami, Hollywood, Florida. The fenders were bought and paid for on the 18th of April after I priority mailed out a money order payment. I sent a money order out on the 15th of April to cover the costs of those purchasing the fenders. The money order was then accepted on the 18th of April and confirmed that the fenders were being shipped out on the same day after receiving the money order (told that by e-mail and telephone).

A week and half go by and I am still wondering where these fenders are. I send out a e-mail they have yet to go out (due to illness-more of a mystery in itself). I send out another e-mail wanting a tracking number on the fenders, I am told they will be shipped out tomorrow...a few days go by another e-mail is sent asking where the tracking number is because I was told there would be one given the next day. The fenders are then shipped out on the 1st of May, and I am given a tracking number, address, and telephone number where the fenders can be picked up. I go to the station (they were sent Greyhound) to pick the fenders up and what was stated to me was good condition with exception of a ding on both fenders. The passenger side fender was bent in the front, scratched up and down the entire body of the fender, a huge area of white lay in the middle of the driver fender, accompanied with scratches going in every direction, there was chipped paint on the corners. I received the fenders in the condition of what looked to be a totalled FBP SI. The fenders arrived unwrapped with the exception of duct tape wrapped entirely around both of the fenders securing them together. I took 10 or so detailed images of the fenders condition, along with the receipt and time and date of arrival. I refused acceptance of the items and instructed the item to be sent back to the original addressed sender.

I arrived home to call and speak with the seller, making him aware the fenders were back enroute to him because of damages and requested my money be sent back by Saturday the 4th of May. I offered to give him all the information on the tracking of items, he declined and agreed to send my money back. After not receiving anything by Thursday the 9th, I recalled the seller and questioned as to when the payment was being shipped out, he stated the payment was shipped out the 8th of May. This being a in-state purchase, I assume it would only take 3-4 days to arrive.

Today is the 16th of May, a weeks worth of time and I have yet to see the payment returned. I have e-mailed the seller back and made him aware that after the 20th of May, there are no longer any viable excuses that a payment would not have been returned by now. I have been more the gracious about this whole ordeal and patient after he ran my name through the dirt a bit after not being able to follow through with this product for others. So if it's a patience issue, it's not the case because something that was originally said to be sent out on the 18th of April which is then sent out 13 days later is a long stretch. I have tolerated more then my fair share I and do not believe the seller is placing as much concern as I have, not in the least.

People who have bought from me know that I am a stand up guy, if someone is looking for something I go out of my way to check on it for them, PMing them or e-mailing them the information just to try and help out.
I am quick and try and be as professional as possible about everything when it comes to buying and selling items. I understand things can come up, but after awhile when it gets old it is looked at as just a load of excuses which I am tired of hearing. If he didn't have the time then he should not have placed himself in the position to act or take on the responsibilty of a business. This is only 6 or so hours away and I never mind taking trips because this is becoming more of a inconvenience and why someone would attempt this in the same state is beyond me.

I apologize for the huge read but situations like this need to come to a close. This is not the address but if anyone is in the area of 5300 SW 130 AVE, Miramar, FL 33027 please post or PM me. By next week I will proceed with this as necessary, if I do not hear any word back or receive my payment back. I have all the necessary information to locate him through the collection agency and by checking our bank computer records if this is a fake address. I am just asking that anyone who has been ripped off or nearly cheated, help me out before I have to proceed to the next step with this (I have all information which I will be posting later).

Why should I or anyone else be cheated by this guy again? Please involve yourself and help out

I live about 15 minutes away from Miramar, but I don't really know what I could actually help you w/. I could deliver your grievances to local police if you want me to do that. Since I don't know you or this person, it wouldn't be advisable for me to go up to him & ask for refund in your name. He would have no reason to believe me.

Personally, I think you shoud probably drive down here yourself. You're not that far away, considering that you dealt w/ someone in same state on Internet. Good luck in getting your money back.

I hear you man, more then likely I will end up having to take a trip, next week is going to come regardless. People are wanting to come along so.. :-/ Violence never solved anything but it sure made a lot of people feel better. Not the route I am going about it, but this needs to be resolved and come to a close, thanks and sorry about that cluster, once I got my funds tied up helping, it put me in a position not to be able to spend for a bit.

That white slash outside the middle of the label going north/south from the is cut deep cut. Were these supposed to be an attempt at Z3 fenders. This is probably the better looking picture because of the low light, but I still see slashes in each direction Look at the next pictures when I get in better light.

That is duct tape saying when you take me off, I may take some of the paint too "careful I'll peel"

Warning!! This is not dust or dirt, that's the part of the wonder with the fender. Check out the two lines near the point of the fender, next to the bent bracket to hold the fender in place

The darker area on the passenger fender is the front tip of the fender, I never realized it was supposed to bend down to such a point like that. Looking at it made me realize these fenders look as if they didn't even belong on a civic in the 90s.

:-o hey man... i MIGHT know who the hell this Brock guy is. I dunno for sure. But I live in the Miramar/Pembroke Pines area. I followed a friend of mine once to a guy's house a while back, dunno if it was his house or what but i recall hearing someone named Brock. My friend would probably know. And once a while back I was on partstrader and I saw an ad from Brock E. (I'm guessing it's Ewing now) and I was like hmm I wonder if it's the same guy but I didn't pay much attention since I didn't know the guy. I really dunno for sure but when I talk to my friend i'll ask him about this guy if it's the same person. Email or PM me or IM me or all three if you want. Sux when people get ripped off. Hit me up, hope I can help.

You are confusing me with someone else, but you have not asked me anything, sorry.

If you are willing to help, I would appreciate it, but you and I have yet to speak before.
