Like title says, How hard is it to Drill holes for 99-00 si spoiler onto virgin 99 ex trunk? (drill wholes on the trunk to attach the spoiler) i'd like to do this if its easy enough. Has anyone done it first hand?

I wouldn't do it if you have to ask. It can't be that much for a body shop to do it. Plus it will look better.

 

its easy get a friend to hold the spoiler while you make where the holes are, get a tape measurer and see how far from the hole to the outside of the spoiler and drill there.

 

On the inner part of the trunk (near the edge), there are 2 indentations on each side. Tape the top part of the trunk with masking tape to prevent paint chipping. Take a small drill bit to drill those holes. Then take a drill bit slightly larger than the spoiler studs and drill the hole. Use a primer or touch-up paint to cover up exposed metal.

 

 

try and trade your trunk if you can.......im sure someone is dying for a wingless trunk
