Default KYB AGX Questions

I'm thinking about buying these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

1) Should I buy KYB boots or are OEM fine?
2) Will stock springs work fine?
3) Is this all I need to swap struts?

yes, you can use stock springs, and that is all you need to change the shocks...porvided your top mounts are in decent shape

You don't even need the boots..... at least.... the guy who did mine said..... "..since your's aren't in good shape... I will leave without them.... that's not a problem..."

awesome struts for the price.. but if you are leaving the oem springs on i would go with the kyb gr-2(cheaper). but if you are lowering get the AGX's.. you won't regret it.. i have them on my accord and my civic!!

How long have you had them? I've read a bunch of reviews ( http://www.carreview.com/cat/p....aspx ) where they blew out in about a year.

i have had them for like 3 months but i put 3000 miles on my car a month.. so technically they have like 9 months worth of driving on them if you think about it.. and 80% of my driving is stop and go... not highway miles.

keep in mind that the life of the damper will be dependent on your driving style. if you track your car weekly or drive aggressively all day long dont expect it to last very long.
