Default Supercharged GSR in EG hatch

Friend of mine owns a 1994 hatch with a gsr. He bought a JRSC kit the other night and he showed me the new pulley for the alternator. I don't think its going fit between the alternator and the frame. The space is *extremely* tight. Anyone ever hear of fitment issues with the kit in an eg? ANY and ALL help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Really need to know if it will bolt right up. I won't even bother opening my tool box if this install requires any kind of modifications. We both want a strictly bolt on installation.

what motor mounts is he using? if he is using some cheap *** mounts like avid then thats prolly why he has some fitment issues.

Those are the mounts hes using I believe. I installed them easily without any problems/fitment issues.

I thought avvid improved their product quality? It still seems strange, it's not like the mounts can change the placement of the motor...can they? The were supposed to be OEM replacements...just polyeurathane?

Sorry for all the questions.

Avids mounts IMO are still ******* shitty. I like Innovative and Hasport.

well if the mount is made properly it will make your motor sit too close to the shock mounts.

Ive personally done 4 swaps with Avid mounts for local peeps and the mounts all fit like ****. and one guy had some serious issues with axles snapping . i loaned him a spare set of innovatives i had in the garage and his axle problems went away.

Remember the JRSC kit includes alternator relocation brackets. if the stock alternator pulley fits, the double pulley will fit too.
