Ok, yeah brakes... fun stuff(97 accord)
I guess since I kept bashin on honda's they locked on topic, then moved the other... haha! But seriously this time. I'm not stupid. I know I need to press the rotor off. And I also need to remove the hub from the rotor so I can put it back on the new rotor. And correct me if I'm wrong, but the bolts on the hub are only torqued to 40 pounds, yet I have put more than 100 and have broken a socket, stripped one of the bolts... I didn't take the rotor and hub off the car first, because the bolts were torqued so hard, I figured it would be easier to have it on the car than to remove it from the car and fiddle around in the garage with a loose part torqued to more than 100 pounds... Right now my only 2 options are to get a one of those striped nut removers sockets or just take it to a brake shop which its sunday, and none are open... and I have to drive from Memphis, Tn to Nashville, Tn today... on brakes that vibrate the entire car violently when you stop. I just obtainted this car from my brother, so Its not my fault the brakes are like this, they were like that before. So if you guys have any ideas lemme know...

Your best bet in all honesty is to take it to a shop, there's a couple of tutorials in the Accord FAQ that should be able to help you out , there's also a tutorial to show how to do rotor over hub to help save you some time the next time you work on the car
