Default question about h22 lma's in B18c1

i have a few bad loss motion assemblies ticking their asses off right now. i have a question about the h22 lma's. i've done my searching and figured to use them in a b18c1 head a .040 thick shim must be used. making that happen doesn't concern me. my main concern now is:

would they be able to handle more lift than a gsr/typeR lma?
(i plan on putting in an ITR intake cam)

good god d-mn lma's are expensive.

thanks for the help in advance.
