Default Rocket motorsports or Ferrea valvetrain

hey guys iam building an ls vtec setup, and i came across a dicision. i have a B 16 head with skunk2 pro1s and was wondering what valvesprings and retainers? i have some deals come aross for rocket motorsports or ferrea. based on expereance or what u guys heard about these brands what one should i go with?

has anyone used these products? i just dont know whos used them and which ones to go with.

both are good choices for valvetrains. i personally run RM springs/retainers.

They are both very good. I like the RM stuff very much. However, you might want to consider getting Skunk2 Pro Series to match your cams, just for the sake of warranty purposes.

i ran Rockets valvetrain on both my motors with no problems. i have run his valvetrain in customers motors as well, no issues what so ever.

Ferrea is a great company and i have run theirs with no problems either.

If you are using skunk2 cams, i would run skunk2 valvetrain just in case anything happens. its easer to warranty something if you run the same valvetrain and camshafts.
