Default Non-fouler Non-working!

Well the non-fouler i had put on the secondary O2 sensor just took a ****! My CEL came back on 230 miles after installing it.

Took longer this time cause before it came on at around 60-75 miles. So is it hit and miss whether or not this thing is supposed to work? Should I just go for the O2 simulator instead. What's going on?

I disconnected the battery prior to install, and left it disconnected for quite a while. And I also let the car idle for 15 minutes as was directed after the install. Did I miss something?

Yes. The DCRH eliminates the CAT so it produces the CEL. The non-fouler was supposed to take care of the issue, but apparently I can't get a break!

I wouldn't pick up the DCRH if I were you. Apparently it leans out the motor a little bit so you can't get full potential out of it unless the car is tuned for it. And this is usually the part where HONDATA comes in, but even HONDATA doesn't recommend the DCRH with their application.

If I can't solve the CEL problem then DCRH = bye bye.

Well if u decide to get rid of the DCRH u should go with the comptech header its 50 state legal and carb legal here in CA. http://www.comptechusa.com/store/product1546.html

All i want is for that damn light to go away AND STAY AWAY. I'm tired of staring at it. I just wanna know if i screwed something up, or if i should go with the O2 simulator. Maybe it won't make a difference either. I don't know. But i don't wanna keep spending money here and there just to try and get this issue fixed.

I wouldn't mind going with the Comptech header, but the DCRH is still fine. Hasnt broken or anything. It's just the CEL.

That thing is worthless, its almost identical to what we have stock. Our OEM header flows very well, its the actual cat that is so restrictive.

I would stay away from the Comptech. Thats like throwing money out your window. Not worth the price for the HP you get.

Yeah my CEL came back on too. But mine was I think because the flex pipe leaks. I have to send it back to Dc Sports. When I get my new one ima get this to see if it works better than the spark plug non fouler:

So then the problem is my header then. I can actually detect a hint of exhaust when i'm sitting inside my car so I think the flex pipe could be the issue, but I don't know what kind of code it would throw.

I mean the car doesn't sound any louder from the leaks or anything....if there are leaks, but I have a feeling there could be a small leak.

Damn this is ******* horrible. I never expected DC to be THIS bad. With this and some other dude on this forum having his damn exhaust tip fall off. What kind of **** is that? .

And since i know DC won't refund my money for their mistake, I'm gonna trash this hunk of garbage after I take it off.

I wish they had a damn email address so I could shoot them a nice little e-mail about their shitty craftsmanship.
