So, as I got home tonight I put up my driver's side window and noticed if I keep holding the switch in the "up" position when the window has already closed, my idle will drop a good 2-300 rpms and the headlights will dim. The only thought that comes to mind is a bad ground somewhere. Any ideas what this could be and what I could check? My car is a 97 LS with 100,000 miles.

I think that just had to do with power drain. Like you get a small drain when you turn the wheel and not moving.

 

Yeah my brother explaines this to me once b4. When the window is already up and ur trying to move it up farther, there is an enormous power drain on the engine to force the window up it's impossible, but it drains alot of power from the engine at idle. So the lesson from this is.... It's normal, but don't do it.
