OEM Speeedometer gauge installation
hey i got a new speedometer/RPM gauge for my 4 gen prelude. i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get directions to install it. heres the item if you need to see it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...83428

It's not that hard. First dismount the dashboard, so you can get to the gauges. Unscrew them, unplug the wires, so you can work more comfortably. When you have gauges out of the car, unscrew 2 tiny bolts on each side of scale. Slip on the glow gauges without damaging the needles, and screw back those tiny bolts.
Next the electrical issue. The converter box that came with the gauges has some wires sticking out of it. The wires with connectors plug to the glow gauges, and the black/red wire is the power supply. Find the wire, that is powering the old lights on gauges. Solder the red wire to it, and the black to the ground. This way the glow gauges wil be lit only when you start the car. You can also make a direct connection from the fuse box and add a switch to turn them on/off when ever you like. Put the gauges back to dash and enyoy.
