Default Noob question on a H22 Swap onto a 5th gen.

Sup guys. I really want to do this H22A swap on my 96 Honda Accord EX Coupe Auto. Here's what I want to do.

H22
97-01 Prelude 4speed auto with SportShift.

I read everything. And was wondering. I have a 96 Accord and has ODB2. Should the engine be OBD2 too? Where can I find these engine? Thanks? ebay ones are the old prelude and is OBD1.

And for a noob like me, very little knowledge about swapping engine. Should it be easy? I know everything, but most are compatible between the prelude and the Accords.

From what I read, the easiest swaps for putting the H22 into accords is to use the same year donor motor. A 96 Prelude should have OBDII as well. As far as the difficulty, I've never swapped an H22 > 5th gen, but have read extensively on it. Sounds relatively straightforward, be sure and use the prelude motor mounts if they are available. The only difficulties I've heard of are 1) you have to modify the driver-side motor mount, 2) you have to have a custom line fabbed for the power steering, or you can just use the line from a 97+ accord. And changing the ECU pins, but there's tons of info. on that. Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

You'll be paying premium for an obd2 h22 swap in an accord, the only ecu you can use is the 1996 h22 usdm ecu, which is the rarest ecu out there, going rate is 500+ plus wiring as far as I know hasnt been completely figured out emissions wise

Any OBD2 ECU should be the same should it not?

Get a OBDI engine and convert your car to OBDI - harnesses are as low as $80. And OBDI is way better for eventual tuning.
