does anyone know where ther is a shop where i can get my crx converted into the right hand wheel drive. and if so do u know around how much it would cost. thank you
ohhh buddy, your looking at a lot of money, new front clip which means cutting, welding, parts, and man hours. Probably at least 10 thousand. Do you love your car that much? Whynot just get one imported for 5k?
likewise....not many people wanna try this, it takes time and lots of money. but there is a couple of threads here in the crx forum, that people are converting to RHD. read those and get an idea of what it actually takes to do all this.
one big thing you have to buy is a RHD clip from japan. and thats ussually 2000-2500 and upwards of that.
thats my two cents.

Right hand wheel drive? So, you're saying you want the wheels on the right side of the car to be the driven wheels, instead of the two front wheels? Interesting idea, but I think it will make the car only go in circles.

I have done a RHD conversion before. All I did was weld in a pedal linkage that connects the pedals to the right side, then added a steering wheel that spun on a bearing on the right, this wheel is connected with a rubber V belt to the other wheel. I had RHD
Well you're in cali. so im sure there's a shitload of places that have done it already
also are you trying to do just a firewall swap,,or are you talking about cutting off the front of your car and welding on the rhd front? cause that will have alot of affect in the cost

I've done one. The clip and such was cheap, but about 100 man hours were put into the grinding, welding, cutting, fitting, sealing, painting and all the other stuff that goes with it.
You're paying for labor, so prepare to bend over.

get it imported for 5 - 8k. http://www.batfa.com/ here is a site I found by accident browsing in the wee hours of the morning... it's likr 4k for the car, 1800 to ship it and maybe 1 - 2k to get it legalized. GL with whichever you choose to do.

Cut out the old left hand drive fire wall and weld in the right hand drive fire wall. Then weld that up and swap all the right hand drive stearing componants to your new rhd firewall n walla.
