Crx interior space?
I currently have a 2000 integra that I am selling due to ridiculously high insurance and am considering a crx, and if not that definatly an EF civic. I am 6'2" tall and fit comfortably in my Integra and am wanting to know if I would be comfortable in this car and have enough leg room. Thanks.
I'm also 6'1", and my CRX is actually more comfortable for me than many larger vehicles. With most vehicles, I drive with the seat back all the way. In a CRX, if I put the seat back all the way, I can barely reach the pedals. The lack of a back seat really helps add to the front leg room.
you should be fine i had to fit my cuzin in thereand he's 6'4 265 when i had to pick him from gettin rims on his range rover. and he was fine but he didnt have much head clearance
my roomate is 6 foot 4" 290 lbs He has put 180k on his DX crx. the roof is too low or seats too high on my si crx though he hits his head on the sunroof.

Majority is saying it's good, but some of you are talking about not having enough head room. Is this cause of after market seats or are some of you tall in your mid section and not your legs.

The electric sunroof takes up some of the ceiling space. It is only an issue with an Si. I had an Si, and it didn't bother me. Just slouch down with that gangsta lean.

if you have long legs you'll have plenty of room.
if you have a long torso that is when you have to worry about head room. also the sunroof does take away about 1/2-1". Im 6' and with my helmet on in my hf i am fine but when i get in my brothers si (sunroof) my helmet can touch. without my helmet im fine though.

6'1", 175 lbs..... Honestly one of the most comfortable cars ever for me. Seat all the way back. (Must have long legs.) I run the CRX Del Sol seats in my '88 Rex now, and it is even better. (They sit lower than stock EF seats.) Be careful with non-stock seats, as some sit too high (RSX for example...) No sunroof on my DX chassis... Ridiculous huge space in back w/no seat and hatch.... Considered getting the JDM/EDM back seat for it, decided not to because rear riders have no leg room without moving front seats forward
, and not safety approved for U.S. as it was never sold here...and it eliminates storage box where everyone puts their amp, less rear storage space....

i have a long torso i guess. shirts are rarely long enough. pain in the ***. im researching what racing seat to replace my nrg recaro look alike so i can get some head clearance. having an si doesnt help.

Did you remove the dome shaped spacer that goes between the seat and rail? That gives you more clearance.
A Sparco Sprint on the Sparco bracket puts the seat in a very low position, lowest I've ever sat in a CRX.

I'm 6' 2" too. I have a long torso so even with my stock Si seats my head touches the headliner if I sit straight up. I like driving with my seat back nearly vertical. CRX's have tons of legroom. If I move the seat all the way back I can't touch the pedals. But the headliner thing is annoying. If I want to wear a helmet for autocrossing I have to sit leaning over gansta style. I'd suggest sitting in a Hf, DX then an Si before you buy one.....
yeah i removed the round cone shaped spacer your talking about. i made some mounts outa sheet metal that i attached to the stock rails. no difference in height. the leg room is great, i dont even have my seat all the way back. i already gangsta lean my seat, but its kinda annoying when im driving curvy stuff. i looked at the sparco sprint, i dont really like the style. im leaning towards getting a memory fab or f1spec seat myself (in the next 1-2 months). i would love to have an adjustable bucket seat but my height does not want to cooperate.
I am 6'1 and 185 lbs, and I have plenty of leg and head room. I have the seat as far back as it will go and the seat back straight up.
Actually I think the driving position in the CRX is the most comfortable for me. I like my legs and arms stretched straight out without having to bend my knees much. This position is more comfortable for me for driving very long distances. And the Si seats are so comfortable with great lower back support.
