Hello,

I need some help with this maintenance required light on my 95' GS-R. I cannot figure out how to get the light to turn off. And when i got the car it didnt come with a manual. I went to 5-6 different places to see if they could turn it off, but they all tried the same thing. Turn the car off with the keys in the ignition, then hold the reset mileage button on the cluster for a few sec, then turn the car onto ACC, then hold it for 10 more sec. Didnt work tho... Does anyone know how to turn it off??

there is a thread somewhere how to do it, however im bored so i will tell you

there is a little box under your dash. it is on the drivers side kind of inline with the steering wheel. there is a little button in it. turn the key to the 1st position i think, push the button in for a few seconds, and the light will go away.

naw man if im right check down by your gas pedal where the colum cover is at and there is a little box there with a button, mine is blue, yours i think is yellow but just hold it for like 5 to 7 seconds and thats that.

go down from the steering column, and under the dash, there should be a little box. turn the car to accesory and hold that button on the box. the light should go away, also it could be turn the car on check both, and that's that.

Oh hey... in any of those 5-6 places you went to... any of them to DEALERSHIP!?!? That would have been my first place to go. I'm pretty sure THEY would know how to do it. *shakes head* If breathing wasn't automatic I swear there would be no population problem.
