I was wondering when someone would ask this. I have the exact same question. Nothing wrong with a bike rack when you actually go biking and so forth...however to add it on because it looks...good? I think they junk up the car. Added to that it aggrevates me that because I have an extra light on my car or a sticker, it makes the car ugly or stupid and I'm a ricer...but if I put a bike rack on the vehicle it becomes "dope" or "sick"...I guess I'll never understand but I would like to see some other LEGITIMATE explanations.

 

Uhhh to carry a bike you nitwit. These are Hondas we're talking about here. People own them and it's their only vehicle so it would make sense. Not like it's a Lambo with a rack.

 

get a truck instead of putting a bike rack on a hondas roof. it looks ugley when i see that

I had a bike rack for my bike.. I could carry the bike to work and afterwords go to the track and ride it daily.. Plus I personally like the looks of a lowered car with a bike rack.. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions though...

Yea b/c buying a truck is alot more economical than simply buying a bike rack for when you want to cart around your bike.

I think its fine when people put bike racks on there car, however I think its the most ******* retarded thing in the world, when people think that it adds to the appearance.

alot of poeple on another forum I am a member of are avid bikers so having the bike racks is a really big plus in their hobbies

 

well i ride to class every day because i commute to school. i'm a college student which means cheap ol' honda takes me to schoool and it doesn't scratch my trunk like the trunk mounted ones. /story.

some people get it for looks which is stupid if you ask me because it does no good for your gas mileage.
