Default Blinkers not working right after Steering wheel install

After putting on my jdm itr wheel, either my blinkers will turn off by turning my wheel only a tiny bit or they'll stay on after turning and won't turn off. Anyone had this problem?

There are little trips and catches (dont know what else to call them) that allows the lever to stay on during a turn and release after the wheel went past the engagement point. Don't know if you could find a diagram on the order of the pieces, but most likely they are messed up.

I think there are a few plastic ones and then a metal one.

the cancelling switch is usually triggered by the clockspring (airbag component). if you ever removed a clockspring, you would notice a sort of tab that cancels or switches off the turn signal tab.

double check to see that when you installed the steering wheel you did not expletive up any thing abvious (like the cancelling tabs). if not the only other thing is that the clockspring cancelling mechanism is broken, in which (probably) you would have to replace the clockspring assembly. i don't think the cancelling device on the clockspring has its own part #.
