Yahoo :) She goes straight and drives like nothing happened :)
As you all may know I had a little incident last weekend (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=183269). She drove like ****, steering wheel was at about 2 o'clock and pulled all over the place. Well I got a new lower control arm in the mail today and pulled the old one off. I was a little worried as I could not see any difference between the old and new one
So I say **** it and throw the new on one and the steering wheel is straight, she goes straight and drives like the day I bought her. All I need now is to get it aligned to verify that the frame is not bent and I'm good to go. Fawk the screwed up sheet metal, I can fix that after expo
I hit the curb so hard, the lca hit the brake shield and put a hole in it and cut a grove in the rotor
A little blury, but you can see how the castle nut got bent to ****
The rim hit the caliper, but did not touch while driving it home, kinda weird
Fucked up my tire while driving with the alignment all funky, but I got plenty of others
Beer for the night. New **** from Budweiser, not the best in the world, but free

That's good news man, but I would still suspect some frame damage with the way the front sheet metal is hanging on the car. Hopefully the damage to frame is well in front of the shock towers, then it should be a matter of squaring the core support and aprons. Things are looking better.
Have fun at the expo! No more crashing!

Yeah I know CKDC2, no more crashing, but **** happens ya know
Also I'm going to get it aligned tomorrow and if they can align it then I'll wait untill after expo to get it on the frame rack. I'm going to have to get it on there anyways so they can pull the apron back, but with me leaving in 1 week, it might be a little tight. Thanks for all the help btw, I'll let you know how the alignment works out.

Beside, its a theif magnet. I guess you realy don't want to see the other side where i took a dremal to it trying to get them to clear the mazda rims huh

Even pad pressure is the main reason...
With the Wilwoods you can't get pads at the dealer.

-who would use the calipers and paint them black also
Assman - it takes a lot of force to move a control point on that unibody. If any damage was done to the frame I'm gonna bet is was forward of the shock tower which should have little to no effect on the handling.
From the pics it looks like the lCA took the majority of the energy. When you have the alignment done make sure you have them check the caster. Sometimes the caster gets hosed up in a curb hit like that - even after you replace the LCA. Often times that is becuase the upper a-arm gets bent of the strut mounting points.
Glad to hear you will be in full effect getting owned by off throttle rear end movement at the expo

You don't need to make stickers, I've got a die cut machine here at work I've been using to make up a boat load of stickers for expo. As for keeping my foot in it. If i did that, I would have ran right into the back of the jeep

On the lca, yea it got wacked pretty fawking hard. I got an appointment to get an alignment tomorrow so I'll find out exactly what is up.
The car does handle kind of weird on first sweepers now though. It feels as if the car is pushing when im on the gas (only going like 40mph) and then when i let off the gas, the rear end want to rotate around. Could be the alignment, or it could be the fact the I have ITR rims with RE010's w/ flat spots on the front and Mazda rims with 195/50 S03's on the rear.

I'm gonna bet that the caster and camber are off a bit on that side.
