what clutch do i use im lost i have a 88 5spd tranny and a d16z6 i bought a flywheel fidanza off of ebay that said it can be put on any civic from 88-05 i just want to know what clutch 2 buy because i bought one for the 88 tranny 21 spline. thank you so much.

 

88 is a 21 spline 7 7/8 disk
89 is a 20 spline 7 7/8 disk
90 - 02 is a 20 spline 8 3/8 disk

If you want the bigger 8 3/8 disc and the 21 spline you need a act conversion clutch or get a hold of Mike ( http://www.lsdmotorsports.com ) and tell him what you want. I am running one of his in my awd civic hatch with a 88 wagovan trans. You will not regret dealing with him!!!
