wats the difference?
ive heard of them but not really sure wat the differnce is i thought that they were the same...i kno the difference between the SI, HF, and DX but wat is the difference between the DX and STD models? and are there any body or chassis differences between them thanks, ive heard pretty much everyone crackin jokes about the STD model.
88-91 Civic STD hatch has D15B1 engine (DX is D15B2) - also, has 4 speed transmission, has smaller hubs and brakes and uses smaller axles, has no sway bars and no place to bolt them on, has no tach, has no passenger side mirror, has no center console (just a rubber boot around the shifter), has no rear wiper, has lighter seats, has a black painted panel between the tail lights, has tiny exhaust with close coupled cat (like CRX HF) - in general, it is a lightweight, less powerful, version of the DX
damn u kno wat that means. my beater hatch that i thougth was a DX is a STD. LOL i had one n never knew it. oh well that was it b4 the D16Z6 got dropped in. thanks for clearing that up for me.
