pistons for mini me swap
im building a d15b2 from top to bottom with a d16z6 head, need to know if the d16a6 pistons will work in a b15b2 block? the reason for using these pistons, is because it'll give me a lower compresstion ratio, and i have one laying around, for the turbo build so i can throw more boost to it...
well i need to knwo for sure b4 i buy the parts, well i know the bore is the same, they are both 75mm, but i dont know if the stroke is. i wanna change the rod and piston over from the a6 to the b2, and which bearing do i use if itll work? anyone know?

the pistons will work,,but the rods wont...d16 and d15 have different size "big ends" ..so you would need the d16 crank to but it wont work cause the d16 has a higher deck height...
also you should think about forged pistons and rods,,,cause the oem stuff even at a low compression is still very very weak.

Im 100% sure the pistons will fit on his d15b2 rods,,the only thing is i dont know if he knows or not how lower the a6 pistons will sit on his d15b2 rods,,The compression ratio is going to be really low,,like 7.x:1.......So i dont know about this idea unless you plan on running a small turbo like ihi or t3 .48,14b,t25,etc,etc so the fast spool will be there...cause its going to be very laggy with say a t3 .60 or bigger
