my head gasket was leaking, but when i took off my head, the head hasket has not failed. im thinking that either the head is warped, or the block is warped.
on monday, im taking the head to a motor shop for verification. id just like to know, how much can be shaved before it becomes a problem??? its a 99 gsr.

 

found the spec.
the max. service limit is 0.008", or 0.2mm.
do people shave more than this?

 

I think most ppl mill.03 or something like that. unless you want to go wild and raise comp a bit then mill more

 

I use a beard trimmer to shave my head. It works out great, everything comes out even...ladies always jock me for fading justin timberlake. It feels pretty good. Just put it on a high setting so you dont get the whole prison gang or white supremacist look going.
