Hi ! I buy my CRX 2gen. VTEC with a OBX Intake Manifold. Could you tell me: OBX INTAKE MANIFOLD IS BETTER THEN ORIGINAL INTAKE MANIFOLD ? If is better, why? Thanks

 

It is only better if your engine needs more air= Cams

 

this manifold may give more top end power ,but its a piece of **** quality, fitment and a stupid design..

i now use them for itb projects,,but thats about it..

 

Godamnit go buy a cam first

If you're going to upgrade your camshafts, do your Valves, Valve Springs, and Retainers too.

No point in upgrading to an obscene duration camshaft if you can't rev high enough to keep it in the powerband!

 

unfortunately this manifold is only good for the following a turbo build or for parts to make an ITB setup or for a custom setup...running it alone...will actually loose you HP...the fitment of the OBX intake manifold's is pretty shitty...you have to modify them to work...spend the extra dough and get a Blox or Skunk2 manifold...they are worth the money...

unfortuantely the OBX intake manifold is one of those dark sided items that will cost you money and will rob you hp...so then whats the point...

 

Oh I'm sorry. Manifold is instaled in my CRX, but he is a BLOX firm. I'm sorry Blox is good or bad ?

blox is pretty good design,i think its a copy though..,,fitment is real good..Real good for allmotor mid range power.

 

where do you buy the blox mani?
