Default d16z6

Ok im doing a d16z6 swap with my 88 tranny i heard that the clutch is different then the 89-91 . im doing the obdo-obd1 ecu conversion so i can use a p28 can i put my 89 si intake manifold on it and still run the ecu

ya the clutch is different. and ya you can use your intake mani with the p28.

Input shafts are different on the 88 compared to 89. On the 88 you have a 21 spline shaft and all the other years you have a 20. Also, the 88 clutch is only 190mm across, 89 is 200, and the rest of the years are 212. If you want a 212mm clutch with the 21 spline input shaft you need to get the clutch from a 1986 - 1989 Acord DX / LX.

Since you're not using the obd1 intake manifold with top mount map,you're gonna have to T off a line from the fpr to your map on the firewall to get a vaccum source.

no he wont,,

he's using his original intake manifold with his original map sensor,so he just leaves it as-is how it came from honda..simple

For some reasone i blanked out and imagined an obd1 Tb with a obdo map.
