i checked majestic honda, but have had no luck, anybody know of any other sites where i can find the sockets that go to the bumper lights on a 97 accord. for some reason both of mine turned up missing when i went to reassemble my car and i cannot pass inspection without them.

yeah ive seen that, i think mine is number 18 though, thats the style bulbs that i had, and for some reason they don't list 18 other than in the picture

 

its number 1 and 8, not 18. But do you need just the bumper lens or the sockets?

 

haha, yeah, thats a 1 & 8 not 18 like Black Ex Coupe said.

And they don't list 1 or 8, it's actually looks like they list 3 & 9 as 1 & 8. But thats the entire lamp assembly, lens/housing and the socket and bulb.

Try looking through the same year but different trim levels, you may find it in another trim level, sometimes they vary.

Have you tried going to a junkyard? You can probably get that socket for $1. I did that when I needed a socket for my corner light on my Civic and they just said take it.

 

my bad on reading the picture, but whatever the bigger socket is is the one i need. yeah i've been to the junkyard, i know for a fact they don't have any because when i was looking for a bumper there we're any 5th gens there with a front bumper...seems everybody gets into a front end collision, so i was forced to buy new. i'm away from home now, but i may have to make a trip home and see if anything new appeared in the couple weeks ive been gone. thanks for the help!

 

well, send me a PM sometime. I have a complete wire harness from my totalled 95 EX still, I might still have the sockets your looking for. I'll have to look though because I'm not sure if I still have them or not as this was from a while ago.
