Default Climate control question.

Hey guys,

Some of you may know i recently bought an ef5, which came with this climate control unit:

and all the tabs which allow you to screw it to the centre console frame are broken, so i was wondering if i could swap it with this unit, and retain all of its features?

I can always just buy the one i have, but it would be cool if i could get the auto-climate control thing working.

Thanks for any info.

Holy crap a rt4wd sedan! I want!! Matches my wagon. As far as climate goes its a huge pain if you can do it. Requires switching heater box a ton of sensors and wiring. Check the prelude threads a few have made those work they might be able to help you.

you'll have some of the plugs to make it work but you will need a few more parts for it to work.

from my understanding to make it completley functional takes lots and lots of work. one the climate control unit in your car uses all cables. the auto aircon system uses no cables, as it is all electronically controlled. the harness are even different and the wires are not the same. good luck, but i don't think it's worth your time. this quesiton has also been coverd before.
