Stock sleevs max power?
sooooo anybody know what the type s can handle with forged internals and stock sleeves? and a good tune? and how long it could last ... let me know what you guys are handling? or how long its lasted ?
Stock sleeves on the K series are significantly thicker than the B series, even to the unaided eye. And we all know how far the B series have been pushed.
I have seen many, many stock blocks pushed past 400 with no problems. There is one guy here in Jersey making 540 on a stock block, Eagle/Wiseco combo. As a matter of fact I have never seen a sleeve failure on a K series to date.
Point is that you will have no problems with a stock block at ~400. After 450 I would consider a set of sleeves, they aren't that expensive.
