Default Seached, My car won't start but will crank. Need help ASAP

Sorry guys but i searched and it seemed like there was no problems like mine. Heres the deal, I have a B18B1 and i just got my car running because my coolant wasn't circulating but now it is. When it wasn't circulating i changed the thermostat, took off the water pump but it was fine and i put it back. I got my car to not over heat anymore but it ran for a bit but now it won't start no more. I got it sitting and idoling for like 20 mins. When i took it out of the shop and i put it in gear 1 and it drove for like 2 yards then it stalled. I tried cranking it but it wouldn't start. I waited for a bit and gave it a little bit of gas and it fires up. I went around the parking lot as i took off i got it into 2nd gear but right when i did the car stalled again. After all this the car only cranks but it wouldn't fire up no more. When I crank it the Speed tach goes up and down like crazy. I am running a CEL but its only for my crank angle sensor. This is what i still need to replace to get it running right but i can't seem to know why it won't start no more. I still need to replace the Dizzy, I am guessing the tach jumps is because my VSS and do you think its my timing belt? Have you ever ran into a problem like this or do you know whats wrong? Answers will be apprciated.

I just replaced my dizzy not long ago either. I'm thinking about doing a Lsv on it. So i'm thinking i wouldn't need a new dizzy.

ya, i hacked my way through it. I thought I had a dizzy problem, then i thought it was a fuel problem, then i went back to the dizzy. My friend and i checked to see if i was getting spark. i had the problem like you, its starts, then dies out, then wont restart immediately, then after a bit it starts right up. really effing. the parts when it wouldnt start, i had no spark. ruled out the fuel at that too. play it cool.

Crank Angle Sensor CEL, only way to fix that is to replace the Dizzy. That will make your car run like **** if it decides to.

I'd say slap on anothe dizzy and see if it works, if it doesnt, find me around town, I'll help ya out.

Replaced the dizzy but still does not start. It cranks but it don't start. It hasn't been touch for atleast 2 weeks so do you think i just need to crank it for a while or theres something really wrong with it? I'm guessing its the timing belt because I remember its like a teeth or 2 off.

I think i shouldn't make a new thread so i will just repost here. Still the same problem pretty much. This morning of 2/10/07 I went to go work on my car again. It was cold as heck too but lucky my car is parked in the garage. After i lined up all the TDC marks I went to go start my car but all there was just a clicking noise. I was confused and did what I used to do on my old cars. Bang the starter, after I hit the starter a few times with a hammer and i went back in to start it, it cranked for like 2 or 3 rounds then the lights inside the gauges faded out and it stopped clicking. When I use another car to jump start it everything works fine but it cranks. Do you think its my starter or something else?

your battery is probably low from you trying to crank it over and over and over again. You sure your getting spark and fuel? Dont tell me you've got spark and fuel until you've checked!

Yup checked everything. Car is outta my house right now its at the real shop getting a new exhaust and I decided just to do the maintance on it. I was told its because the timing belt has become stretch so I'm doing the maintance instead now.

Where do you live? Car is still at my house. The mechanic said whenever he have time he will come tow it but never have yet. The mechanic said I might need a new timing belt because the old one has been stretched too much and a new tensioner spring.
