Besides new sensors, the Spoon TB is taper-bored to 70mm. I have one also and was very please with the throttle response, I'm sure you will too.

what IM are you running? I was under the impression the TB wouldn't make a difference without a new IM...

not so true. if the IM isnt ported to the tb then its not working at full potential.

Looks like a stock TB bored out. Is that even a taper bore?

Taper bore from what I understand means, the outer lip BEFORE the butterfly is enlarged or "bored" to 70mm.

Everything AFTER the butterfly is stock. This type of mod is done to comply with the restrictions and regulations imposed on the series they race in.

I'm sure they would have wanted to, if allowed, to increase the overall bore as is done by George at http://www.maxbore.com

Cams are slightly aggressive then ITR cams, contract made by Honda. They also have N1 cams, but those aren't available to the public.

The Spoon Throttle Body is great, it looks just like stock. No one will ever know you have one. Mods people can't tell you have

1. You get to rock a huge blue spoon sticker.
2. You save a bunch of weight (in your wallet)
3. Some guy in Japan gets your money.

I remember in the old Civic days, I bought something similar from JG Dynamics and it was ok in summer time but when it came to winter, the aluminum contracted from the bore and my throttle plate get suck so I have to step on gas pedal hard to unfreeze it.
Performance advantage, I do not remember!
