Rough Idle... Now No Idle...
I read through some of the rough idle threads already.
So here's the scoop: My car has been running great for weeks. I started it last night, drove out of the parking lot to the first light, and then it started to idle like ***. It was really rough and all over the place, sputtering, etc. When I gave it gas it bogged down and sputtered worse. I made it to a nearby parking lot and left it for the night. came back in the morning, tried starting it for the hell of it and it still idled poorly. i came back one more time and it doesnt start at all now.
i pulled the plugs and theyre black and sooty so obviously its been running really rich. im not sure what to start looking at first. advice? thanks guys!

yeah wow my car is doing the same exact thing yours is doing i was wondering what the hell is up with it have u gotten any good advice or have u fixed it?
just an update for the few that are interested. so the cam timing got hella outta wack...
the shop stripped it down (still dont know what caused the balancer belt to fail, maybe defective, maybe debris, dunno). upon inspection of the valves they found all but one were bent. now, they're pulling the head and rebuilding it.
have any of you had experience with balancer belt problems?
my cars gonne be down for yet another week...
