ok I have a 93 accord ex auto w/ 172k+ miles. I have two different unusual noises coming from the engine bay. One noise sounds like an electric motor coming from the passenger side of the engine bay. Sounds like it could be coming from either the transmission or the abs system, but the brakes and the transmission seem to all be working fine. The other sound is like a high pitch whistle which almost sounds like crickets. The sound only becomes noticable when driving down thr road with partial throttle while accelerating. Anyone have any ideas?

 

I guess I have the only high mileage honda here with "unique" problems since nobody has a clue here. lol

 

UPDATE: The honda died last thursday 2/15/2007 at approximately 06:30pm with almost 175K miles. I dont know whats wrong with it. It's Either no spark, no fuel, or it jumped timing. RIP honda until further notice. lol
