Who likes these 18's?
Alright. These are 18x7.5, 5x114.3 lug pattern and 40 offset. Who likes em? I don't know how much they weigh....probably 16 lbs for all I know. Yea, I'm gonna be slow n everything. Oh well. I'm going more for looks. If I don't get 18's I'll stick with my stock SH 16's. My goal is 18's though. I can get a new set of 4 for about $404. Tell me what you think...

hell if you like them go get them. why are you asking us? you're not doing this for us, least i hope not. personally i think those are ugly but that's just me. if it makes you happy, go buy them, put em on, and call it a day. slowly but surely, ppl are losing their ability to think for themselves..

i actually have those 5kr's on my 5th gen, in black with a polished lip. came with the car when i bought it. i don't have any money to buy new rims, so i really don't mind em. they don't look that bad.

Ditto.
I'd rather floss the OEM 16's.

I've seen those exact 5Zigen wheels (Gun metal w/ Polished Lip)on a Lude, and IMO they look really nice, and they were only 17s with 215/40/17 tires with a drop closing the wheel gap. I had similar wheel (18 x 7.5 Tenzo RS5 Gun metal/Polished Lip +42 http://www.speedstash.com/rs5gunmetal.jpg) for my lude. I regreted it because of the rubbing issues, it does feel noticeably heavier, and 18s in my opinion do look too big for the lude and it makes the lude look tall from the front and rear
. With 18s, I couldn't drop my Tein basic coilovers low enough to close off the wheel gap and it rubs in the front and pretty bad in the rear even though the fenders are rolled. After 3 months of dealing with 18s, I found some dude with a Matrix who wanted the same rims, so I sold them him. My setup right now are a set of 17x7 G-Games Wolf 77 Silver 1pc +42 with 215/40/17 Falken Ziex tires, a full OEM Lip Kit (just need to repaint the kit to color match the Pearl White color of the car) and I was able to drop my Lude low enough to tuck in my tires and no more rubbing issues anymore. 17s IMO look nicer, especially when you're dropped with the tires tucking in (to a certain extent) and with a full OEM Lip Kit
. 18s IMO would look weird without a lip kit and without a drop
. I was in the same exact position as you konvikt, and trust me, don't make the same mistake I did going with 18s, because you're gonna hate it. If you want to upgrade the size of your rims, get those in 17s, its cheaper, lighter than 18s, look more proportional with the Lude size wise, and you can drop you car lower than with 18s and its healthier for our Ludes. 18s with rubberband tires (i.e. 215/35/18) are nothing but trouble. 17s FTW

no one in here is really gonna like the 18's ... Go with something smaller / lighter...
If its not a show car...18's are REDICULOUS!!!
