is it bad not to get an alignment right after changing suspension ?
suspension change? there's a big difference between adding strut bar vs coilover
spring needs to be settle so the ride height will differ a tad(toe, camber, etc)

you should get an alignment any time you change something crucial on your suspension components. but... i've changed just about every piece on my suspension to either aftermarket or from a different car and havent had an alignment
but i'm not losing control at normal speeds and my tire wear is still pretty even, i've had the tires for about 6 months now...
moral is: get an alignment anyways.

its ok but it doesnt mean its completely safe. get an alignment before you start driving about 65 MPH. i'm not getting one till i replace my front brakes to SIR front brakes.
*make sure you torqued everything to a proper specification though.

does the car feel the same is the first question.
anytime you make a modification in ride height you change all alignment angles, when these angles change you move the stress points to different spots. meaning that the part (s) which were supposed to carry the load originally are not necessarily the ones carrying the load now. or the same amount of the load. then you have tire wear and what not.
if the car feels unsafe : it is unsafe.

Whether the car feels safe or not is irrelevant. No matter what if someone felt there was something wrong with their car, it would be smart to not drive or whatever.
Nothing bad will happen if you don't get an alignment except you'll kill tires much faster. I've been dropped for about a year and a half now and I finally just got my alignment the other day. I wish I got it sooner though cause one tire's inside has worn really fast. The toe was way off. 5 degrees on one side, and 8 degrees on the other.

ALWAYS get an alignment its better to spend 60 bucks now then 400 down the road wen you wear all your tires down. I got board one day and slammed mine for about a month and worethrough a set of junk tires but that just an extreem case.

any time you disassemble the suspension you should get an alignment if you don't want excessive tire wear.

they might not want to do an alignment because they cant adjust the camber. jsut try and ask them to adjust the toe in.

thats why anyone who lowers their car should get a camber kit and maybe do that washer trick for the rear sus. if they don't have much money.

Well theres a place out in central islip i think that does dropped cars all the time. I went to a shop my friend works at, but I'm not sure if they're open for business as of right now, because the owner of the place just passed away thursday.
