i've heard that the airbag won't work when you swap s2k steering wheels into other cars because the srs connections are different, any truth to this rumor?

No it wont.
It will fit:
96+ civic
97+ prelude
03+ si
02+ rsx
Not sure about the 01+ civic though.

since you cn use the dc5 and s2k steering wheels on an ek, i wonder if i could use the s2k wheel on my rsx and get the cruise and everything to work

you guys need to get one of these. I heard they are hard to get. VGS S2Ks. I was close to getting one till I found out S2K wheels dont fit DC2s. (unless i swap out and get a steering column from a civic)

you could always swap a EK steering column into a Teg right?

i would think it would fit the 01-05 non-si civics since they were produced the same year. i wonder if i could get the cruise control buttons to work as well

its because the VGS S2k in Japan is totally different and there was never a model that made it here in the US. Like i said you can probably make it work on an S2k. As you can up top they made it work but in a Prelude. S2k will be much harder.
