Default d16z6 SWAP into a 90 Si

Hey you guys. I've read a little bit on doing a z6 swap into a EF..

I'm just double checking but from what I've read I don't have to worry about wiring for MPFI since its an Si.. and I already have an 90-91 Si tranny.. So all I will need is an OBDI ecu and conversion harness (Getting one from Rywire.com)?

How do the plugs on the harnesses match up when putting a z6 into a EF Si?

From what I've read I really don't have to change.. Enlighten me Honda-tech.

yup thats all you need. you gota do some extra wireing like the 4 wire o2 and vtec and dizzy to make it plug in rywire well the adapter for the dizzy though. other then that your si harness will plug into the motor. youll have to jam the injector plugs on cause there different but will plug in with a little effort. and use your obd0 alternator. oh ya you gota extend your fanswitch wire to reach the thermo housing and it needs a different plug on it. its easy though.

the wirings not that bad, you can use the Z6 alternator it'll plug right in. You can also use your injectors just keep the resistor box. You will need the ECU and distributor adaptor and the wiring for VTEC solenoid and VTEC pressure switch and 4 wire O2. You can extend the wires for the fan switch, or just swap the one from the back of the A6 block to the Z6 if it has a threaded port.

From the research I've done.. z6's make VERY comparable numbers to a6's when built.

Well from the driving experience ive done, stock d16z6's are quicker than d16a6's.

im doing this exact swap into the same car. i also have the rywire OBD-1 vtec harness.

quick question about the injectors tho, should i use the z6 injectors or stick with the ones on my a6 and keep the resistor box? which would be easier to work with?

Yea.. I've seen a lot more people using z6s which is why I'm skeptical to go a6.

But from what I hear from d-series kids they say a6's perform just as well.
