Default Amber Sidemarkers Question

Will any sidemarker work on any vehicle? I know it's a noob type question, I'm just trying to figure out why there are some major price jumps for certain vehicle sidemarkers. Seems to me you can just splice any old sidemarker to the turn signal wires and it would work. Thanks for any input.

They all wire up the same, but each one came from a different car.

scroll down some and you can see the difference yourself. Also if they are for the same car, one is most likely after market, while the more expensive one is OEM. In any case, would suggest going OEM, as aftermarket ones tend to come loose, break, etc..

Thanks for the help. Reason I asked is because life as a 6th gen. Accord owner trying to source parts can be biatch at times. Civic and Integra sidemarkers galore, but I can't seem to stumble on any for an Accord. Thanks for the help, again.

6th gen never came with oem side markers. Just install the 5th gen version.
