Ok i finally got a hold of this kid that was selling a crx, i forget what year, but its carburated, the body is in great shape, as well as the interior, it has 130k on it
trans has no grinds or any problems
he said the only thing wrong was some of the vaccumn lines weer messed up
Anyway, is the carburated that bad? i mean i was looking for a crx, but planned on putting a turbo on it, but i dont think thats possible with carburated? unless im wrong
And its more of a hassle i guess because i guess if i wanted to do a motor swap id have to swap out the computer and such right?
Do they make performance parts for the carubrated engine? i think ive seen a worked carubrated crx before but i cant remember

Do they make any kind of performance parts for it?
its got 130k on it, is it worth 1400?
if i bought it, id eventually swap a FI motor into it, nothing like a gsr or anything, just any fi motor that would go into it..
But my question is other then just swaping the motor what ECU work would i need?

I had an 86 HF carb. It will be more trouble than its worth to swap in a FI motor. However, the damn thing gets like 450 miles to a tank. The gas mileage is great. I wish I never got rid of it now. Botom line, great daily driver, crap for speed.
