Go to www.clubrsx.com and you'll find the answers that you're looking for. I bought an RSX a few months ago and like it a lot. When compared to my old DX Accord, the new car is better in so many ways. But, there are still things that I don't like about the car.

1. Stock tires are useless. Wet pavement + stock Michelin tires = trouble
2. Bose subwoofer was a big disappointment. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I'd like to at least feel some sort of bass.
3. The rear of the car gets a bit jumpy when the roads aren't exactly smooth. Twitchy is the word I hear a lot from other RSX owners. Test drive the car and you'll see. Doesn't bother me so much now that I know what to expect it so I drive more carefully when the roads demand it.

Well, these are my gripes. You'll get different opinions at clubrsx. BTW... your GTS is a nice ride. Why would you trade it to get the RSX? I think the Celica looks great and performs very similarly to the RSX Type S. If I were to trade my car now, I would get something bigger/better, you know what I mean? The new 350Z is just around the car; the base model can be had for under 27K. Rumors of the RSX Type R say that it will be here in the US within the next two years. My point is that there will be some sweet cars coming soon. I'd hold on to your GTS until then and then decide. But if the RSX still suits your needs, then by all means, go for it. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry for the long post, but I hope you find what you're looking for.

Here's my car. Some say she looks like a Chevy Cavalier with a big butt. Others write her off as a bloated Civic. Doesn't matter to me. She's still a blast to drive.

well, main reason why im trading it in, is cuz i blew the motor twice now, and i kno its gonna happen again, so i wanna get rid of it. the type-s is the closest thing to a GTS i can get, and it looks fairly good. tho i still think the celi looks better.

Na brother,..ITs called a SHIFT GATE! You need it,...GTS are blowing like Jenna Jameison because of not having those things on all of em',...I have a friend that got one on his and its all good!!!!
RSX-S is known to do some crazy **** similar(like the damn 11k rpm red line Video) but hey,..you might not wanna get one if you've done it that many times,...RSX has no SHift Gate! BE careful3

by the way,..Toyota got you a new motor,..thats cool,..another friend hydrolocked his GTS and they gave him a new motor too!!!--->Toyota,.what a great bunch of guys!
