hey whats up i'd like to know where all you norcal folks got your spring compressors when you lowered your car on springs, cause the ones autozone rent out for free are too big to fit in between the spring cracks, thought about coilovers instead but nahh.

 

I had a little bit of a problem too so I just put them down lower, toward the middle of the shock.. I dunno if that would help you though, but it worked on my ground controls.

I know o'reillys has some too, but I dont know if theyre around where you live.

 

thanks bro, ground controls are coilovers which are easier to install and i got lowering springs , never heard of o rielys man but good looking out. peace

I have a set from Sears. If they dont fit slam the spring compressor with a big hammer. If not pm me

 

Kragen rents out different size of spring compressor for about $6 a day with a $60 deposit.

 

Im not from the area but if you just find a small little shop usually theyll just let you use thers. Thats wat i did.

 

just take a shirt or rag and tie it around the spring and point it at a wall or tire and do it like that lol ive done it.

 

yeah...save some money for lunch...
cover your nuts... jam the impact on the hat and go to town on that ****...
