Default Help! Cant Boost Past 10Psi

I know this Honda-Tech not toyota but id really
apprciate your help with the fact that its a Turbo issue.
so please help with whatever knowledge you may have!
you'd really be helping my brother and i alot!
Weve had this problem since we gotten the truck 3 years ago
Its an original 1987 Toyota EFI Turbo Truck..
The Truck came With this setup..
22-RTE (stock Turbo engine)
-Garrett t3/t4 turbo
-Garrett intercooler and piping
-HKS blow off valve and waste gate
-470 cc fuel injectors. bored out throttle body
-exrtude and polished intake. 2.5 exhaust
-built head w/ ARP bolts and larger exhaust valves. Cam.
-Larger fuel pump and fuel regulator..

Well the truck runs fine from time to time! as long as we keep it under
10lbs. then it fine but the second it passes the 10 mark, the truck either
bogges or just completly shuts down!
On some bad days sometimes the second it trys to create any Boost
it start to really bogg! we have to either slowly, and i mean slowly let it
spool up slowly or just let of completly!

Recently the engine had to be rebuild!
one of the Pistons broke on the side! found the other peace in the
oil pan!

We dont know what the problem is or could be!
we dont know if there is some sort of EMS for these kind of engines..
we also dont know if its been tuned before,i belive they said it was but
i feel it may be in the tuning or maybe a fuel problem!
but like i said,as long as we dont pass the 10 mark! its ok,but it get really
frustrating keeping an eye on the Boost gauge and not being able to floor the peddle!

So please if you can help we greatly appriciate any help you can give!
Thank you!

Ill be glad to post more pics if anyone needs..

This is were the needle sits when just ideling..Is the Vacum point to low?

This truck has somewhat of a special value to my brother!
it was the first car that he gave his son(my nephew)when he first
got his lisence, but he passed away on December 5 2006..
My nephew really liked the truck alot but we always had this problem with it..
We'd love nothing more then to finally Fix it!

I was thinking the same too. Never hurt to retune it.

First promise that you'll NEVER use a "!" in your sentances here again.

Next, get a different wastegate spring. Sounds like yours set for much more than 10psi, or that you don't have the proper vacuum line going to the wastegate. As suggested, it could just you're maxing out the MAF sensor if it does in fact use one, and that happens to be at 10psi.

Your best bet is to get a wastegate spring, something like a 6psi/.45bar, then use a manual boost controller to increase it up to 9psi.
