Default h22 rods handle 300 whp

hey guys im new here and tried to find it but cant can h22 oem rods hold 300whp andbe safe or just get aftermarket rods thanks

Just a shot in the dark, but if you're going to build any Honda to make 300hp... you should probably build the bottom end as much as your budget can afford.

It's not the rods you have to worry about, it's the sleeves and pistons and getting new rods wouldnt hurt

this is going to be in a f22a6 block rods for the f series is around 700.00 so i was just wondering if the h22 oem would be good or if i need to get the eagle h beam rods, have been told the f22 sleeves will be fine and getting custom pistons with 8:8.1 cr for the h22 rods

yeah the f is 5.571 and the h is 5.63 custom pistons and rods will cost less then the crower rods and f pistons

IMO the rods can handle 300whp given proper tuning and whatnot.

however if your going to put a custom piston in the motor, you might as well get some eagle rods too... hell I have a set of h22 eagle rods that are new for cheap (they just been sitting on my shelf).

btw try more periods or something in your posts (not trying to be a dick) cause everything just kind of runs together in your post.
