what kind of tranny "hydro or cable" would i need to fully make this possible. i hear alot about cable b16 trannies having 90-93 ls 5th gear, but what about a hydro b16 tranny? do i have to use the hydro trannies' 5th gear or can i use the cable trannies' gear.? please help out a honda member.

I wouldn't put an LS 5th in an otherwise stock B16 tranny...it's too big of a jump from 4th to fifth, and syncro carnage will eventually result..a GSR 5th will drop revs by ~500 rpm at freeway speeds
