I think some of the DX's did, as an option? I'm pretty sure that's the model I pulled mine from.

You may want to just mount some 6x9's in the sidepanels in the rear. You're going to need to run the wires to the rear speakers.

Do you already have the side shelves and cargo cover?

Here's the factory speakers I have:

my 90 dx had rear 6 1/2" speakers on the rear deck stock with Honda grills and speaker mount brackets. I'm not sure if the speaker brackets are available any longer.

Like it is in my picture?

They're getting to be REALLY hard to find. The cargo cover and the speaker brackets/grilles took me months to find. The parcel shelves are a little more readily available, but the do you no good without the speaker brackets.

Personally I hate how the stock speakers sit, but I like to keep everything stock looking.

All cars are pre-wired for the rear speakers. Hell, I have an Std. and it even came wired up for it.

I beg to differ. I have an STD and there are NO wires for it. Unless they were removed by a previous owner. Not that it matters, I rewired all my speakers with O2 free 14 and 16 ga wire.

The rear speaker wires are right below the tail lights behind the panels... not sure why they are there though haha
