Default i got one more question about camshafts in my gsr need help...

i was wondering could i install any camshafts i want with my gsr motor with stock pistons and stock bottom b18c1 or could they not be so aggressive so that i have some valve clearness... well my plan was to install some zex 57200 camshafts in my gsr head but i wanted to know if that would be ok to install on a gsr stock bottom end? or could it be possible that my piston could hit the valve because of he piston clearess... let me know any info would be help full... im also going to install valve train....

Your piston shouldnt come up when your valve is open and you also will need to upgrade the size of your air intake to let more air in

DO NOT put in a cam that is bigger than type r and keep stock valvetrain.

upgrade the valvetrain or you will be asking later where you can find another motor.

even if you decide to put in bigger cams and not upgrade the springs, dont rev it past the stock redline

you can but anything over a type r cam will need more compression to make power, so your choices if you want to keep the motor stock would be to replace the headgasket with a 1 layer one or mill the head, anything more than a stage 2 will require new pistons for more compression
