Default JDM Type S Pistons and JDM Rods, what bearings and rings?

Hey all, my motor has been knocking for a while and I found a great deal on jdm type s pistons and rods. They are both from a jdm type s prelude so 11:1 cr. Anyway, I was wondering would I still be able to use OEM h22 bearings and rings?

make sure that the type-s s pistons match your bore setup (BBAB...ETC)
their is a stamp on your block above the water pump that will tell you the bore sizes on the block be sure that the pistons match that

so if it says BBAB on the pistons it has to say that right above the water pump right?

one letter per piston.
four letters/ four pistons.
it you take off your upper timing cover you should beable to see the code
i wouldn't buy the pistons untill you find out which ones you need.
their are two sizes a or b

Thanks for the help. Where would it be on the piston itself? on the bottom? I'm trying to ask the guy but he said the piston is stamped with a p5p jo and just an arrow pointing forward an an "in" mark for the intake side

just a side question....

if the pistons were .025 or .050 OS then you wouldn't have to worry about which piston (A/B) you had, correct??

yea psycho, because you have to bore/hone the cylinders anyways....

the letters are on the back/timing side of the block, on top
