the driver side headlight is foggin up (again) from the inside
its a 2000 accord sedan

this sucks cuz i just took both headlights out and dried them out with a hair dryer, and now the driver one is foggin up again, looks like its coming from the turnsignal side, anybody have any experience with this problem

or suggestions as to new aftermarket headlights, projectors that are good and bad

 

take the lights out, and run some clear RTV silicone along the seams, it will keep condensation out in the future

 

Headlights come with this little holes behind them, which has a small sponge inside them. Well, the sponge keeps the moist from going inside the headlights, and allowing them to "breath" instead of fogging up. Check to see if you still have them, and make sure they all face down, with the proper sponge inside.

dude, i had the lights offa the car and had the lights and the front bumper for that matter in my bedroom overnight and the next day to allow the lights to dry out more on the inside after i had blowdried them dry, i seen the backside of the lights, i didnt really notice any little holes with sponges

however there was those 2 big black roundrubber boot thingys that go around the high and low beams

you did know this is for a 6th gen right?

gianinline is right, but 6th gen is rocking those "elbow" breather thing, alot of people seal it off complete when doing a black housing DIY which effectively mess it up

make sure all the rubber elbow is in place and aimed right

 

you wouldnt happen to have a better description of the "elbow" thingy that you are talking about, maybe some pics of it or something?

and wierdly enough, the light has un-fogged, but it for damn sure doent look like a new, or at least, good condition headlight, its kinda hazy, and the reflectors(the part you paint) look a little cruddy
